Canine compatibility: Dogs permitted off-leash on the trails if displaying a Boulder Voice & Sight dog tag. Dogs must be leashed in the parking area and on the E. M. Greenman Trail.

Fees and permits: Parking fee for vehicles not registered in Boulder County

Schedule: Sunrise to sunset daily

Trailhead facilities: Limited parking in the lot with additional parking along the access road, restrooms, trash cans, picnic sites, information signboard

Maps: USGS Boulder and Eldorado Springs; Boulder Open Space & Mountain Parks Circle Hikes Guide; signboards at trail junctions

Other: Parking is limited and fills quickly on weekends. Additional parking is available along Baseline Road.

Special considerations: You will gain and lose more than 900 feet in elevation along the route. Don’t attempt the loop if you have heart, respiratory, or knee problems.
